Michael Jackson's father, Joseph, is eager for the late star's children to launch a career in music, it's been reported.
Joseph, who had an estranged relationship with his son, wants Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, to embark on a world tour as the Jackson 3.
But the plans are said to have angered other members of Jackson's family.
Ian Halperin, Jackson's biographer, told the Sun newspaper the singer's father had already offered recording contracts to two of his grandchildren.
"Now he is talking about getting them the world's best backing band and taking them on tour as The Jackson Three,” he said.
The reports come just days after Joseph admitted Paris, who spoke at the star's memorial in Los Angeles, had shown potential as an all-round performer.
But, Halperin added, a source close to Jackson's family said other relatives were “livid” with Joseph's alleged intentions.
Jackson and his father, who established the Jackson 5, are known to have had a tumultuous relationship ever since the singer was a child.
Meanwhile, as Gigwise reported on Saturday, Jackson's sister, Le Toya, has claimed the star was murdered as part of a conspiracy to obtain his personal fortune.
